Shop Pay and the Buy it now buttons
Shop Pay only works inside Shopify’s checkout. Turn off the dynamic checkout buttons so every buyer reaches Payd.
Shop Pay can’t come with you: it only works inside Shopify’s own checkout. On Payd, buyers pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
Dynamic checkout buttons (Buy it now, Shop Pay and other express buttons on product pages) go straight to Shopify checkout. Keep them on while you set up. Payd hides them while it’s live; to be sure, turn them off in your theme editor:
Open Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Open Online Store → ThemesDawn: open a product template → Buy buttons → uncheck “Show dynamic checkout buttons”.
Horizon: Theme settings → Cart → turn off the accelerated checkout buttons, and remove the Accelerated checkout block from the product page.
Click Save.
If you pause Payd, turn them back on so buyers on Shopify checkout get them again.
