Add another store in 2 minutes

Your first store takes about 20 minutes. Every store after that takes about 2: Payd reuses your Payd app and your Whop connection.

Once one store is set up, the next one skips most of the work. On your stores page click Add a store; the setup page then offers what you can reuse. Two questions decide what you do.

Shopify: the same organization, or another one?

Same Shopify organization
Install your Payd app on the new store: in the Dev Dashboard, open the app → Installs → Install app → pick the new store → Install. Then in Payd choose Use your Payd app from your other store, enter the new store’s address and connect. No new app, Client ID or secret.
Another organization
An app only installs on stores in its own organization. In Payd choose Create a new app and make one from that store’s own admin, like the first time (step 1).
  1. Not sure? Open the Dev Dashboard: when you install your Payd app, it lists only the stores it can go on.

    Open Dev Dashboard

Whop: the same business, or a different one?

Same Whop business
Click Use the Whop connection from your other store: the same business and API key, no new key to create or paste. The new store still gets its own checkout product and webhook, so its payments stay apart.
Different Whop business
Click Use a different Whop business and paste that business’s API key: Developer → Company API keys → Create API key in its Whop dashboard (step 2). Payd becomes that business’s Whop partner too.

Then, like the first store

  1. Paste the new store’s line into its theme footer. Each store has its own line on its setup page (install the checkout line).

  2. Choose how tax works for this store.

  3. Place the $1 test order: a card hold on your own card that Payd releases right after (the $1 test order).

  4. Go live.

Want to try it first? Create a second demo store: it can reuse the demo Shopify app, Whop business and tax choice from your first one.
