Refunds
Refund from Orders in Payd or in Whop, then record it in Shopify. Whop needs enough balance to cover a refund.
In Payd, open your store’s Orders and click Refund on the order: Payd refunds the payment in full on Whop. For a partial refund, refund that payment in Whop; Payd picks it up, and Refund the rest appears in Orders if you want to finish it later.
In Shopify, record the refund on the order as a manual refund: Shopify can’t refund through “Whop” itself.
Open Shopify orders
Whop keeps its processing fee on refunds, so the buyer gets the full amount back and the fee stays with Whop.
“Insufficient balance”
Whop pays refunds out of your Whop balance. If the balance is lower than the refund (right after a withdrawal, or on a brand-new account where Whop’s fees already came out), Whop refuses it. Wait for new sales to land or add funds in Whop, then retry the refund from Orders.
