Password-protected stores
Payd can’t open a password-protected storefront to check the install. Confirm it yourself, or check while logged in.
While your store has a password, Payd can’t load your storefront to see the checkout line. Two ways through:
- Open your store in the same browser, enter the password, then click Check installation in Payd. The line reports in when it loads.
- Or, under Older theme without Custom Liquid? in the install step, click I pasted it (password-protected store).
Your products still count as published while the password is on. Buyers can’t reach the store until you remove the password in Online Store → Preferences.
Remove the password when you’re ready to sell.
