Use your own checkout address

Point a subdomain like checkout.yourbrand.com at Payd with two DNS records. HTTPS comes automatically.

  1. In Payd, open your store’s Checkout page, type a subdomain of your store, like checkout.yourbrand.com, and click Save and check.

  2. Add the two records Payd shows (a CNAME pointing at Payd and a TXT record that proves the domain is yours) where your domain’s DNS is managed. If Shopify manages your domain: Settings → Domains → your domain → Domain settings → Edit DNS settings → Add custom record.

    Open Settings → Domains

  3. Click Check again. HTTPS is issued automatically once both records work; it can take up to 30 minutes.

Until then, buyers check out on Payd’s address. If you remove your address later, buyers check out on Payd’s address again.
