Your account: email, password and alerts

Confirm your email to go live, reset a forgotten password, change your email, and choose which alert emails you get.

Confirm your email

Payd emails you a link when you sign up. Open it to confirm your address: you can set up stores before that, but Go live and Resume checkout need a confirmed email (demo stores don’t). No email? Check spam, then click Resend email in the banner at the top of the dashboard. The link works once, for 48 hours.

Accounts made before Payd confirmed emails start unconfirmed too. Live stores keep running; only going live again needs the confirmation.

Forgot your password

  1. On the log in page, click Forgot password? and enter the email you log in with.

  2. Open the link in the email within 1 hour and choose a new password. The link works once.

  3. Log in with the new password. Every other device signed in to your account is signed out, and Payd emails you that the password changed.

Change your email or password

On the Account page, enter the new email and your current password. Payd sends a link to the new address and a heads-up to the old one; your account switches when you open the link. Changing your password there signs out your other devices.

Alert emails

  • A paid order didn’t reach Shopify (the buyer paid, so act on it).
  • Payd paused your checkout, for example because the Whop partnership ended.
  • Whop stopped accepting card payments for your business.

At most one email per problem per store every 6 hours, never for demo stores or test orders. Turn them off on the Account page; problems still show on each store’s Home and Activity.

Delete your account

On the Account page, pause your live stores first (Pause all does it), wait a few minutes so payments in progress become Shopify orders, then type your email and password. Your stores and their order history are erased from Payd; orders in Shopify and money in Whop are not touched.
